“We are actually a bit ahead of our schedule, but things are progressing rapidly and with the recent expansion of the team, we now expect to open calls in September”, says Hervør Lykke Olsen who works with scientific development at BII.
A lot of work around the programs and calls are still to be done, and more details will follow during the summer. The reason for announcing BII’s schedule now is to give projects a heads up about the application window that is expected to open in September.
BII can however reveal some details on two of the programs: For Business Acceleration Academy, the project teams will spend three months in Copenhagen for an intense project acceleration program, and for Creation House – which is in the incubation phase – the project teams must move into BII.
“We need to bring everyone together and close to the network of mentors, advisors and BII staff – to build the entrepreneurial environment and culture and to simply give the projects a better chance at succeeding. These relocations will of course take some planning and it calls for a high degree of commitment from the projects involved, which is also why we are releasing the news already”, says Hervør Lykke Olsen.
BII expects to welcome the project teams to BII by the end of the year or in early 2019. During the summer more info will be available through the newsletter and website.
