Moving to Copenhagen Science City

In mid March, BII moved from the Novo Nordisk Foundation domicile in Hellerup to a more central location in the heart of the Copenhagen Science City. Here BII will soon establish the 2,300 square meters of state of the art facilities in the COBIS building.

“COBIS is already housing life science start-ups, and to be close to the environment, we decided to move in several months before our new facilities are ready”, explains Bo Heinemann who is responsible for BII’s labs.

He also mentions the great upside of being close to significant players on the life science and start-up scene, such as the University of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet, and SingularityU just to name a few.

The BII team has moved into a temporary office at COBIS and will closely follow the construction of the facilities over the coming months.

Stay updated on our website in the coming months to follow our construction plans.
