Trine is BII’s Chief Business Officer (CBO) and her work focuses on ensuring BII provides the best offerings and framework for our start-ups and translational research projects to go to market. She also works diligently with her team to strengthen ties to the academic environment and explore valuable partnerships with the industrial sector to create an even better foundation for bringing ideas to life and research to market.

Trine has +20 years of life science experience and a background within Life Science Venture Capital from Sunstone Capital and the Pharmaceutical industry working with strategic therapeutics portfolio management, followed by digital health at Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, she has been the CEO of Maternity Foundation, a non-profit organization developing evidence-based Digital Health tools for Maternal health. She has also been the CEO of private fertility clinics (The Fertility Partnership). Trine holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and a certificate in Drug Development from the European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM), Basel.
