Taylor is responsible for BII’s science scouting and strategy to identify research with translational commercial potential. She works with applicants through the due diligence, proposal, and approval process.

Originally from New Zealand, Taylor holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington. She is experienced in drug design, chemical synthesis, and biological testing, having worked in both a biotech start-up and as an academic postdoc. Passionate about merging business and science, she has sat on investment committee boards as both a board member and chairperson.
