Ruth is the operational backbone of BII’s laboratories. She ensures the laboratory is up and running and that all equipment is ready for action. She supports the Laboratory Manager and the projects and ensures that all basic needs in the laboratory are taken care of and that the laboratory is in good condition.

Ruth was educated as a Laboratory Technician in 2000 and did her trainee education at Lindholm. Later, Ruth worked, first as a Technician at Statens Serum Institut with the development of poliovirus for vaccine production and later at Symphogen with the generation of recombinant polyclonal human antibodies. From 2009, Ruth worked at Chr. Hansen, first as Technician in the Fermentation Laboratory and later as Team Leader for the same laboratory. Ruth also has start-up experience from the chocolate company Mellow where she managed the production of sustainable ecological chocolate.
