Louise directs the Science Strategy team and is responsible for setting BII’s overall scientific agenda, developing a solid scouting platform, and sourcing cutting-edge life science research for the Bio Studio program.

She holds an M. Sc. In Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Copenhagen where she conducted her thesis work in protein engineering at Rockefeller University, US. She holds an industrial Ph.D. in Protein Medicinal Chemistry from Novo Nordisk and additional 6+ years of experience in experimental and clinical biomedical research and project management from the University of Copenhagen, Steno Diabetes Center, and Avilex Pharma.
