Katja works with Bio Studio project scouting and Bio Studio program development activities in the pre-approval process. She has many years of international research experience in the infectious disease space and microbial-based drug discovery. She holds a M.Sc in human nutrition from University of Glasgow followed by a PhD in infectious diseases and immunology from University College London. Katja worked as a postdoc at Institut Pasteur in Paris and has worked for more than five years in biotech, coming from a position as team lead for Assays and In-vitro Biology at SNIPR Biome.
