Jonathan is one of our data scientists and is responsible for developing BII’s data collection, management, and utilization processes. Whether it involves constructing a database, creating a web application, or designing a live dashboard, he strives to improve the efficiency and efficacy of our work.

Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Princeton University and has experience in metabolic modeling, systems medicine, bioinformatics, and AI/machine learning. Prior to joining BII, he was involved in many research projects at different Swedish universities as a member of the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure of Sweden.
