On November 3, BII will host a webinar focusing on introducing BII’s Venture Lab and Bio Studio program to potential applicants and answering questions from the audience.

The two speakers are Arnoud Klokke and Taylor Cooney.

Arnoud Klokke:

Arnoud is part of the BII’s Business Development team and responsible for scouting for new start-up projects, the due diligence, and selection process as well as actively working with start-ups after joining the BII. Originally from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Arnoud holds an MSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences and Business Administration from the University of Leiden. Arnoud gained experience in Merck KgaA’s Innovation Center as a project lead and at Inkef Capital as an Investment Analyst. Working across the Therapeutics, Medical Technology, and Digital health sectors.

Taylor Cooney:

Taylor is responsible for BII’s science scouting to identify research with translational commercial potential. She oversees these projects throughout their time in the program and works through the due diligence process.
