Newsletter Editorial, March 2020
2020 brings a difficult time for all of us.
Institutions and foundations around the world are right now offering financial support to ideas that can help us through the pandemic. The Novo Nordisk Foundation has granted DKK 50M to the cause and the recipients include clinical researchers associated with WARD 24/7, which is one of the start-ups in the Business Acceleration Academy.
At BioInnovation Institute, we are committed to support world-class life-science innovation and continue to work together, but apart.
All the teams in the BAA program are more focused than ever and push through the challenges in virtual workshops. Our Creation House start-ups are on track and doing their part to develop solutions that can save the health and lives of patients suffering from diseases such as cancer, Parkinson’s and diabetes.
Despite the difficult times, I believe we will stand stronger on the other side of the pandemic with a greater commitment to knowledge-sharing across life sciences and a strengthened global collaboration.
The challenge of COVID-19 can only be solved in unity.
Best Regards
