If you have a research-based idea with high-growth commercial potential, it is time to apply for BII’s Venture Lab program.

The 12 months long program combines business acceleration, scientific development and team development and is designed to help newly established start-ups in the early phases. You can even apply without a company – and establish one if selected. It comes with a risk-free convertible loan of EUR 500K and access to labs and offices in BII’s entrepreneurial environment in the center of Copenhagen.

“We closed a call for BII Venture Lab earlier this year, and we are currently in the final phases of the selection process. We are now opening a new call for start-ups that will begin their acceleration journey with us in March, 2022”, says Christian Brix Tillegreen, Senior Business Developer at BII.

In the program, start-ups will conduct key experiments to reach initial proof of concept, make a business plan and set a team that will allow them to apply for seed programs such as BII’s Creation House.

The teams will work alongside other start-ups and have a dedicated scientific advisor, a leadership coach and a BII anchor that will help them develop a detailed milestone plan and overcome challenges.
