On Thursday, 10 March, we’re thrilled to host our next Talks at the Square event at BII.
This time we are pleased to welcome Morten Sommer, Professor and Group Leader at DTU Biosustain and serial entrepreneur.
In parallel to an outstanding academic career that led Morten Sommer to be announced as the youngest professor ever in Denmark, he has focused on translating research progress from his laboratory into start-ups. As a co-founder of six life science companies, amongst them SNIPR Biome and Union Therapeutics, Morten has first-hand experience on how to bring academic research into a more commercial setting.
During his Talks at the Square, he will share his insights on how to take different corporate development strategies with academic projects with commercial potential and how you as a scientist gain entrepreneurial competencies such as investor dialogue, pharma partnering, FDA/EMA interactions and drug development along the way.
