At the webinar Sanne Bech Thougaard, Director, Digital Innovation and Thomas Thestrup, Director, Business Development & Strategy from Lundbeck A/S will give insights on Lundbeck’s assessment strategy for companies within digital health/digital therapeutics, focusing on strategic fit, technical and design aspects.
Sanne Bech Thougaard
Sanne is Director of Digital Innovation at Lundbeck, working with start-ups, early innovation and design thinking. Prior to joining Lundbeck, she had a start-up that built digital tools for mental health, primarily working with Cognitive behaviour therapy and anxiety. Prior to that she worked 3 years as a management consultant within strategy, innovation and transformation for large companies, as well as 3 years with tech innovation in IBM. She has a master from Copenhagen Business School in Management of Innovation and Business Development.
Thomas Thestrup
Thomas is Director of Corporate Business Development & Strategy at Lundbeck working on opportunity assessments and strategy. He started his professional career in Innovation Center Denmark in Munich and moved on to join Sunstone Capital Life Science Ventures in Copenhagen as an Associate. Prior to Lundbeck, Thomas held a position as Associate Director at UCB Pharma in Belgium, where he was responsible for in- and out-licensing activities and strategic investments in digital health companies. In 2015, he spun out and co-founded a digital health company from Max Planck in Leipzig.
Thomas holds a Ph.D. in neurobiology from the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology in Munich incl. research done at Howard Hughes Medical Institute (Janelia Farm Research Campus, Virginia), and a Master of Science in Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen.
