Tamar is part of the Global Market Access Program at BII, co-funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Tamar will help connect BII’s start-ups and their breakthrough solutions to emerging markets in low and middle-income countries, thereby aiding in improving millions of people’s lives while contributing to building our global-scale presence and impact. As part of the Global Markets team, Tamar will explore workable go-to-market strategies, bridging society, ethics, policy, and technology and combining caring for our people and planet with impact-driven business solutions.

Tamar is passionate about building sustainable solutions and bringing attention and funds to areas that often go unrecognized. She has worked in international development for almost twenty years focusing on business and strategy development, donor/stakeholder management, advocacy, resource mobilization, and change management. Tamar holds a MA in International Relations from the George Washington University.
