Tamar is part of the Global Markets project at BioInnovation Institute (BII), co-funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Tamar will help connect BII’s start-ups and their breakthrough solutions to emerging markets in low and middle-income countries and thereby aid in the improvement of millions of people’s lives while contributing to building our global-scale presence and impact. Together with Andrew, Tamar will explore workable go-to-market strategies, bridging society, ethics, policy, and technology and taking care of our people, our planet, and impact-driven business all the while.
Tamar joins BII from the Danish Red Cross, where she was responsible for Global Business Development and strategy development, supporting DRC Operations in Eurasia and Africa regions within the thematic areas of climate, migration, and psychological and mental health. Tamar holds a Master’s in International Relations from George Washington University.
