Chris Norn is the Entrepreneur in Residence for the Skape Bio project. He’s a protein design expert with over a decade of experience in molecular engineering and synthetic biology. His work spans the development of GPCR modulators, bioluminescent enzymes for biosensor technologies, small-molecule binders for drug reversal, and engineered capsids for immunogen display.

He has pioneered AI-driven methods for protein design, advanced antibody modeling strategies, and evolution-guided design approaches. His innovative research has led to more than 10 patents and invention disclosures in collaboration with world-leading labs—including postdoctoral work with Prof. David Baker at the University of Washington and Prof. Sarel Fleishman at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
