Education
At BII, we know that it does not only take courage to launch and lead a start-up, but also knowledge and skill. For that reason, we engage in a number of educational activities to educate the next generation of life science entrepreneurs and inspire life-long learning. These activities span our Summer School that helps researchers get to know the fundamentals of business, and our Boardwork Education Program that teaches more experienced founders the ins and outs of sitting on a board and establishing sound governance principles.
BII Summer School
BioInnovation Institute, DTU Entrepreneurship, and the EuroTech University Alliance are collaborating to bring you the Summer School: Entrepreneurship in the Technical Sciences. It is a five-day course designed for researchers in technical and scientific fields who want to explore entrepreneurship and commercialization. Participants will gain practical insights into intellectual property, technology transfer, market needs, funding and pitching, team development, and societal impact.
Boardwork for Life Science Startups 2026
A high-performing board and sound governance principles are key to creating high-growth, successful life science companies with global ambitions. That's why BioInnovation Institute and CBS Executive Fonden have come together to co-create a board education program based on knowledge and experience from the life science industry and startup companies. The program will provide participants with models and tools regarding the board’s role, best practices, dilemmas, and challenges.
