Eligibility

BII Venture Lab is eligible for early-stage start-ups in therapeutics, bioindustrial, and health tech.

It is a requirement that the company has not received any commercial investments.


Meet a few of the BII Venture Lab team members

Christian Brix Tillegreen, Senior Business Developer

Christian has a master’s degree in management of innovation and business development from Copenhagen Business School. Prior to joining BII, he spent six years at Novozymes, scouting and collaborating with start-ups and incubators globally.

Maria Henriques De Jesus, Project Specialist

Maria holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen. She joined BII in 2020 and before that, she worked with business development in the early-stage biotech start-ups, Octarine and Twelve Bio.

Cathrine Nygaard Christensen, Funding Specialist

Cathrine holds a master’s degree in international business communication from Copenhagen Business School. She is an experienced consultant who advises start-ups on funding processes and manages the call process.
