Nina is passionate about elevating global health through commercialization of breakthrough and patient-centric science. As a Business Development team member, she selects and supports BII’s therapeutic startups to help founders achieve their goals and attract funding for future growth.

Previously, she was an investor at the Danish Growth Fund, where she led preseed-Series A financing and participated in boards of startups, including some from the BII. Prior to that, she spent over ten years in life science multinationals, working in R&D and commercial teams in the US, Germany, and Denmark. Nina is an American national and holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
